Chat Rules

  1. You must be aged 18 or over to join the Telegram chat.
  2. Only safe for work (SFW) content is permitted. No adult/not safe for work (NSFW) is allowed.
    • This also includes profile pictures. Users with NSFW profile pictures will be asked to change their icons or be removed from the chat.
    • Broad discussions about adult content, including risqué jokes, are allowed in moderation and at the discretion of the admins.
  3. Bigotry of any kind will not be tolerated.
    • This includes, but is not limited to: racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and misogyny.
  4. No AI-generated content of any kind.
    • This includes, but is not limited to: text, images, Telegram stickers, and music.
    • Protogens and synths are fine because they have souls.
  5. Please keep your personal conflicts out of the chat. Unless it directly concerns the meet itself, interpersonal problems should be kept to private messages.
  6. If you have an issue, please contact our support bot: @LeedsFursSupportBot. This helps us keep track of messages. Please do not contact admins directly.
    • Please be patient when waiting for a reply. Our admins are volunteers and may not be immediately available, and some matters may need to be discussed as a group.
    • If you contact an admin directly, you will be asked to conctact the bot instead.
  7. Advertising requires permission from an admin before posting.
    • If you wish to post a link or advert to commissions / streams / services, please contact our support bot (@LeedsFursSupportBot) for permission.
    • You may be required to mention that your advert has been approved in your message.
  8. Let others speak, and keep spam to a minimum.
    • As a rule of thumb, if your messages are taking up a full screen, take a breather and allow others to talk.
    • We love stickers, but please try to avoid long exchanges of nothing but stickers.
  9. Non-admins should not take authority upon themselves.
    • Even with good intentions, attempting to speak for the admins can lead to mixed and confusing signals for newcomers.
    • If an issue presents itself, please contact our support bot (@LeedsFursSupportBot) and our team will take action if appropriate.

Breaking these rules will result in a warning. Additionally, we may also revoke chat privileges such as the ability to post messages or specific kinds of content.

Repeated or severe breaches of these rules may lead to removal from the chat, and in extremely serious cases may lead to bans from the meet and other future events.

Meet Rules

These rules apply to both our coffee and main meets.

  1. You must be aged 18 or over to attend our meets.
  2. Bigotry of any kind will not be tolerated.
    • This includes, but is not limited to: racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and misogyny.
  3. Do not touch or hug others without consent. This includes when someone is in fursuit.
  4. Do not consume outside food and drink in the venue.
    • This is vital for us to stay on good terms with our venue, and will be strictly enforced.
  5. Costumes must be SFW, and must not include kink gear.
    • Animal collars are allowed, but leashes are not.
    • If you’re unsure if something counts as kink gear, please contact @LeedsFursSupportBot with a photo of the item, and we’ll be happy to advise.
    • We do our best to be fair, and to balance personal expression with this rule. However, please understand that our definitions of what constitutes kink gear may not align with your own. While this may be disappointing, we ask that you respect the boundaries that we’ve set in place.
  6. Costumes must not include realistic weaponry.
    • If you’re unsure if something counts as a realistic weapon, please contact @LeedsFursSupportBot with a photo of the item, and we’ll be happy to advise. For the safety of attendees, we will err on the side of caution.
  7. If you have an issue during or after a meet, please contact our support bot: @LeedsFursSupportBot.

Breaking these rules will result in a warning.

Repeated or severe breaches of these rules may lead to temporary or permanent bans from the meet and other future events.

Admin Policy

Our admin team are here to oversee the chat and ensure it is a safe, positive space for all participants.

Please be aware that our admin team may not always respond to complaints in the way you’d like them to, or as quickly as you feel we should. We do not act on feedback in isolation, but review all facts and evidence before acting – which can take some time.

  • The admin team can be contacted via our support bot on Telegram: @LeedsFursSupportBot. Please do not contact the admin team directly.
  • Admin instructions and / or rulings are final.
  • If you feel a ruling is unfair and / or inappropriate, please request an independent review via our bot.
  • Do not play admin roulette. If you receive a response from our support account that you don’t like, please do not expect a different response from another member of the team.
    • We do talk to each other, and we may take action against users who attempt this frequently.
  • Admins will not get involved with external issues (with exceptions).
    • We can’t get involved or take sides in personal conflicts unless they concern something that happened within the chat itself, or at a meet.
    • If we identify an individual who is frequently causing issues with other members in our group chat, then we reserve the right to take action, to preserve the wellbeing and safety of our members.
