The Chairs

Wolfie

Chair of LeedsFurs

He / Him

Wolfie is Chair of LeedsFurs, having run the meets since 2006 back in the Queen’s Court days.

He has been a member of the fandom for much longer and oversees the entire LeedsFurs operation, from the meet, to the social media, to the attendees.

Frequently found with a beer in hand, Wolfie is also a huge fan of VR and Japanese sports cars, owning an RX7. He is also a huge fan of puppies.

Lupestripe

Vice-chair of LeedsFurs

She / Her

Lupestripe is a bouncy pink puppy and certified sporklebean who acts as Vice-Chair of LeedsFurs, having run them with partner Wolfie since 2007.

A fursuiter, writer and traveller, Lupe helps the meets in a general capacity doing bits and bobs, as well as generally looking cute.

The Events Crew

Bazil

Meet Co-Lead & First Aider

He / Him

Baz is an overly tall blue cat.

In the day, he does [redacted] for [redacted] within the [redacted] region.

At the meets, he’s the blue whirlwind, often found with his “bag of doom” and a green high viz jacket, patching up anyone who needs it and looking after overly toasty fursuiters.

Tonks

Meet Co-Lead

They / Them

Tonks is the loud shouty lynx who helps run the meets on the ground, guiding the fursuit walk with an exceptional crew.

They’ve been a member of both Furry & LeedsFurs since 2012, volunteering in 2015 when the LeedsFurs team expanded beyond Wolfie, Lupe, Oracle and a handful of other volunteers.

Outside their role of Meet Co-Lead they’ll natter your ear off on a wide range of topics including but not limited to sci-fi & fantasy, programming (which they do professionally), literature, history, science and cooking.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Ell

Meet Crew

He / Him

Ell, a huge Pokémon fan and gaming nerd, is one of our newest recruits for the Events Crew.

Ell has regularly attended LeedsFurs meets since 2017 and is only too happy to assist both new and regular members with any queries they may have!

Lynden

Meet Crew

He / Him

Lynden is a short round local bear, who has been regularly attending the LeedsFurs meets since 2016.

When he’s not up to his usual ursine mischief, he’s one of the folk on Meet Crew duty for LeedsFurs, often being called upon to watch over the fursuiters on the fursuit walk.

Dyne

Meet Crew

Any

Dyne is our resident dragon.

You know when Gordon Ramsay said “it’s f**king roar?” – he was talking about Dyne.
If you misbehave at the meet, Baz will set Dyne on you.

They love to game, particularly JRPGs, 4Xs, Strategy, Adventure, and FPSs.

(Basically, they were too helpful around the meets. Then stood still slightly too long… This allowed the team to grab them by the arms and force a staff badge around their neck before they could run away)

Stray

Meet Crew

He / Him

Yorkshire born, exiled in Manchester.

Stray is a video game artist by trade and can often be found sketching the smallest intricacies of period uniforms and firearms in accurate fashion.

Having been a regular at LeedsFurs for many years now, he can be identified by his red hair and beard, and is frequently seen wearing a silly stylish Napoleonic Era jacket.

A werefox with a penchant for history, his role on the LeedsFurs team is a varied one, helping at the meet venue, with the fursuit walk, and sometimes even hosting games online.

Always happy to help and good for a chin wag!

The Support Crew

Fnord

New Member Crew

He / Him

Fnord is the dude who greets new people and is happy to help anyone who needs assistance.

Fnord can often be found wandering about trying to be useful. Remember, it’s pronounced ‘Fur-nor-ed’ – just call and he shall appear!

Often sighted drinking a beer.
